On Friday 4th October 2019, Crook Log Surgery will be upgrading to a new computer system. The new system is provided by the largest supplier of GP computer software in the country and this change should greatly improve our practice efficiency.

During this time leading up to, and sometime after this date, you may notice some disruption to your normal GP services. Some of these are listed below.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and do ask that you can be patient with us at this time, as we move to a faster, better and more efficient computerised clinical system.

GP Online Services
Our current online services at will be suspended on 10th September 2019. This means you will won’t be able to book appointments or order your prescriptions online for the time being.
A new online system called Patient Access will be available for you to use and we will provide information on how to do this via email once the upgrade is complete. You will be able to access the new online service from Monday 14th October 2019.

Electronic Prescriptions (EPS)
The EPS system may be disabled during this period. This is the system that allows your prescriptions to be sent electronically to your pharmacy. This will be re-enabled once the new computer system is live.

We will be unable to completely process new registrations at the practice during this time. However, we will list you a new temporary patient for the time being, until we can complete the full registration process once the new computer system is live.
